Celtic Crossing has served the New Hampshire seacoast since 1998, offering gifts and goods from Ireland, Scotland, Wales, and Cornwall at its Portsmouth shop. Its selection includes clothing, jewellery, textiles, food, music, and home gifts.
About the owner
Karin MacKenzie Scott became the owner in spring 2016. Her background includes work with Discover Portsmouth and G. Willikers. A teenage trip to Scotland and Wales helped inspire her interest in Celtic culture, and she has travelled to meet the makers whose work the shop carries.
Kilt rentals
Celtic Crossing offers Lochcarron of Scotland kilts in Black Watch tartan, with rental kilts made from 13-ounce wool. Adult Highland outfits and children’s rentals are available. Contact the shop for fittings, availability, and current rental prices.
